Today, we are seeking a new member to join the fastest growing flavoring company in North America.


The Watkins Company is excited to announce the opening for a full time, Personal Assistant located in the southeast Minnesota/western Wisconsin area.


The Personal Assistant provides support to the Chairman and President of Watkins. This includes but is not limited to answering emails and relaying messages, assisting in scheduling of important meetings and appointments, travel arrangements, research in procuring goods and services, general errand running in and around the southeast Minnesota/western Wisconsin area, and assisting in other miscellaneous personal matters.


The duties and responsibilities of the Personal Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Provides high level and personal administrative support to the President and Chairman of Watkins.
  • Performs clerical duties and provides administrative support, while exercising discretion and independent judgement, including screening phone calls and providing information.
  • Maintains and schedules all airline, hotel, and car rental reservations.
  • Completes and maintains expense books.
  • Conducts research for procuring goods and services.
  • Assists with vendors and maintenance personnel for property upkeep.
  • Errands for goods and service, including UPS package preparation and drop off, mail, and store pickups.
  • Assists with other various personal duties.
  • Works independently and follows through on assignments with minimal direction.


Our ideal candidate will at minimum:


  • Possesses a bachelor s degree.
  • Minimum 3 plus years experience working in an administrative assistant role supporting executives and office staff.
  • Reside in the southeast Minnesota or western Wisconsin area.
  • Must be available to report to the Winona office on an occasional basis based on business need.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to utilize discretion while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
